U11 C2 boys team rings bells!

The U11 C2 boys team rang bells this past weekend for Salvation Army.  It is an annual tradition for the team to demonstrate the importance of giving back during the holidays.
2009 State Fall Cup

U11 C2 Boys Team - Wins Fall League and Goes to State
The U11 Global team win the fall league in their age group.  They finished the league with 6 wins and no losses.  Off to state on a snowy day in October.  They ended up winning 1 and losing 1.  The weather was cold, wet and snowy.  Great games played by all players!  Way to go!
NESA girls teams (U12 C2 and U15 C2) awarded OATHS prize!

2009 MYSA Summer Jamboree

The U10 Lightning Girls traveled to Hastings on Saturday June 13, for the MYSA Jamboree. The Lightning Girls had 3 very well played games in the Maroon Division (upper skill level) and is seen here with Ashley and one of there many in-between game photo opportunities.
2009 Woodbury Tournament

The U13 boys team played in the Woodbury Tournament the weekend of May 16-17th in 38 degree weather with gale force winds. They outscored their opponents by a total of 14-7 and finished in second place after a hard fought championship game that went into overtime before being decided in a shoot out.

2009 NSC Cup - Blaine, MN

U10 Boys "Global" team has started off the season well. Memorial Day weekend they played at the NSC Cup Tournament and won all four games against teams from South Dakota and Wisconsin.  In addition, they have played in the Dakota Rev tourney.  Keep up the good work! .
   
U10 Girls Mahtomedi Tourney 2009

2009 MSA Tournament - Mahtomedi, MN

The U10 Lightning girls’ team traveled to nearby Mahtomedi on the week-end of May 16-17. The girls had a great time playing even though it was cold and windy. The girls are shown with there participation medals. The team is coached by Ashley Bigelbach, Elena Lavorato and Casie McDonough.
   
2009 MSA Tournament - Mahtomedi, MN

The U12 Lightning girls team traveled to nearby Mahtomedi the week-end of May 16-17 and came away with a 2 wins and 1 loss record for 19 points. The girls played well with scores of 1 - 2 against Rebels Soccer,
3 -1 win against Centennial and a 4 - 3 win against Rice Lake, WI.

"Earth Day Celebration" - Maplewood, MN

NESA U15C2 Boys team and parents volunteer to clean up Playcrest Park in Maplewood for Earth Day!
   
"Adopt-A-Park" - Maplewood, MN

On Saturday April 18, NESA Soccer participated in the Adopt-A-Park program in the City of Maplewood. Shown in the picture are NESA soccer players at Wakefield Park. Participants of the event were given a chance to win a real nice prize!
   
2009 Puma Cup - Wisconsin Dells, WI

U10 Global Team Gets to Championship Game

The U10 Boys Global team competed on Jan 10-11 at the Chula Vista Soccer Tournament.  They played against teams from Chicago and Rockford, Illinois as well as Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The team reached the championship game and ended up finishing in second place.  The boys played hard and the competition was tough. Way to go!


2010 News
Shattuck-St. Mary's Soccer Express 4v4 tournament

The U11-12 LIghtning Futsal Girls team from NESA Soccer coached by Ashley Bigelbach traveled to Faribault, MN the week-end of February 27, 2010 and participated in the Shattuck-St. Mary's Soccer Express 4v4 tournament. These are some of the same girls that played Futsal at the St. Croix Dome in the Futsal East league over this past winter. This same group of girls will be playing in the Blackhawks Futsal tournament March 13 at Ganglehoff Center, on the Campus of Concordia University.
